Tsubomi Seishin Kan Dojo offers regular ongoing Aikido & Iaido training at the following location:

All classes are offered through the Shoreline Parks & Recreation Department on a bi-monthly basis: courses are approximately 8 weeks long.  In keeping with our social mission, course fees are kept low in order to make the arts as accessible as possible.

Adult Aikido - Aikido Study Group is open to all ranks from any dojo or federation affiliation
Thursdays 6-7:00pm

Olympic Room
Only $40 for two months! (approximate: fee set by Shoreline Parks and Rec)

Youth Aikido (Aikido for Children)
Thursdays 5-5:50pm
Olympic Room
Only $50 for two months! (approximate: fee set by Shoreline Parks and Rec)

Japanese Swordsmanship (Iaido)
Thursdays 7:15-8:45pm
Saturdays 1:30-3:00pm

Dance Room
Only $120 for two months! (approximate: fee set by Shoreline Parks and Rec)

We train throughout the year, with short breaks between courses.  We observe all national holidays, and additionally close for Summer Break on or about August 20 through Labor Day, and Winter Break on or about December 23 through New Year Day.  In the event of a weather emergency, the Spartan Rec Center follows the lead of Shoreline Public Schools regarding closures.  Please check with the Rec Center for the dates of specific courses.

The Bannisters have built a beautiful dojo at their home in Edmonds, WA, a traditional space with all the amentities necessary for spirited training including sprung hardwood floor, mats, changing rooms, private and Japanese baths, and common space.  Members of the Tsubomi Seishin Kan Dojo may arrange for private lessons or training time at this wonderful facility.  It is not open to the general public except on very special occassions.
